Where can we get screws for our loose door handles?

door handle grub screw

The little screws (called ‘grub screws’) that hold on the handles of the internal doors sometimes work loose and fall out. It’s very annoying, and replacements are sometimes difficult to find in the shops.

You can find them online, however. Here’s an example of what you need:

They have an M6 thread and are 6mm long including the cone point. You’ll need an 3mm allen key* to screw in. DoorFurnitureDirect.co.uk

Thanks for the tip, Simon!

* Allen keys are those hexagonal tools that you can get from any shops, including supermarkets, which sell basic tools. (Google Images pictures)
